Burgers & Sandwiches
Wild Rice Hamburgers (BBQ recipe)
1 lb lean ground beef
1 can or 2 cups cooked wild rice
1 egg
2 cloves minced or crushed garlic
1/2 lb bacon (optional)
Shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
Mix the above ingredients together well and form into 4 or 5 patties.
Cook bacon on BBQ (or in advance) until cooked but not crispy.
Cook patties on the BBQ until half done.
Place some bacon on top of each burger.
Continue cooking burger patties until done.
Just before cooked, cheddar may apply on top of each burger until melted.
Serve on a bun with your favorite hamburger toppings.
